Thank you again for your wonderful support!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the 5th annual Sophie's Angel Run an overwhelming success.  We had 2,448 registrants this year which is our new record.  Each year since we started this event we have had more entrants than in the past year.  Nearly all of the races in town have been down in numbers of participants this year, but we set a new record.  We are very grateful to receive such incredible support from all of the participants, the volunteers, sponsors, and everyone else who was involved in making Sophie's Angel Run a success.  The race results from this year are now available.  We also have photos from the race.  You can also use the icons above to link to race results and photos. 

This has been another tremendous weekend and we are humbled and honored to have received a level of support and involvement that is only dreamed of in other areas.  Our community is amazing and we are grateful to have such wonderful neighbors.  Thank you for your support.  We are thankful that we will be able to provide funding for scholarships and of course that we will again be able to provide a huge amount of funding to prevent pediatric brain tumors.  We'll add more details about that on our site in the future.  Thank you again for helping to make Sophie's Angel Run a great success again this year.

Kick Off Party for 2011 Sophie's Angel Run

Please join us for a celebration to get ready for Sophie's Angel Run.  We are having a Kick Off Party on Friday, August 19th at the Holy Grail Banks.  It is located at 161 Joe Nuxhall Way (just across the street from the main entrance to Great American Ballpark).  Our party will run from 7:00 p.m. until midnight.  Sophie's Angel Run will receive a percentage of food and beverage purchase sales during this time so you can have a great time and support Sophie's Angel Run at the same time.  Click here for more information.  We'll have a limited amount of Sophie's Angel Run merchandise on sale at the party.

Sophie's Angel Run is a 5k road race / walk / kids' fun run.


The 5th Annual Sophie's Angel Run will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jude Church in Bridgetown in conjunction with the St. Jude Oktoberfest.





Check Presentation to CCHMC

To the right is a picture from our check presentation to Cincinnati Children's
Hospital Medical Center from last year.  We gave them a check for $50,000
in 2010.  In the next few days we'll add or pictures from the 2011 presentation.  We presented Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center with a check for $50,226.05 on February 25th, 2011.

 Sophie's Family presenting a check of $150,191 to Laura Klumb, Assistant VP Department of Development and Dr. Perentesis Director Oncology Program of CCHMC. This check represents over $17,000 donated to CCHMC in Sophie's memory when she passed away in 2006; over $40,000 donated from SAR 2007; $45,000 from SAR 2008 & $50,000 from SAR 2009.
